Manage Outlook calendar events and check availability.

What it does

Connects an agent to Outlook Calendar. Agents can list and read events, create and update meetings, delete events, and check whether a time slot is actually free.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Outlook Calendar.
  2. Click Connect and sign in with the Microsoft account whose calendar the agent should manage.
  3. Review and grant the requested permissions.
  4. Assign the connection to an agent.

Scopes requested

Read/write calendar access plus basic profile read, with offline access so the connection keeps working without you having to sign in again. HeartBeatAgents never sees your Microsoft password; only a token is stored, encrypted, and it can be revoked at any time.

Typical use

An agent that checks your availability before proposing meeting times, or one that creates a calendar event automatically once a ticket or deal reaches a certain stage.
