Create and edit Google Docs documents.

What it does

Connects an agent to Google Docs. Agents can read an existing document, create a new one, update its content, or append new content to the end of one.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Docs.
  2. Click Connect and sign in with the Google account the agent should create and edit documents under.
  3. Review and grant the requested permissions.
  4. Assign the connection to an agent.

Scopes requested

Access to Google Docs content, plus access to files the agent itself creates in Drive. HeartBeatAgents never sees your Google password; only a token is stored, encrypted, and it can be revoked at any time.

Typical use

An agent that drafts a first version of a proposal or report as a real Google Doc you can then edit and share, rather than pasting text into a chat window.
