Google Sheets
View as MarkdownRead and write spreadsheet data in Google Sheets.
What it does
Connects an agent to Google Sheets. Agents can read data out of a spreadsheet, write to specific cells, create a brand new spreadsheet, or append new rows to an existing one.
Setup
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Sheets.
- Click Connect and sign in with the Google account the agent should read and write spreadsheets under.
- Review and grant the requested permissions.
- Assign the connection to an agent.
Scopes requested
Access to spreadsheet content, plus access to files the agent itself creates in Drive. HeartBeatAgents never sees your Google password; only a token is stored, encrypted, and it can be revoked at any time.
Typical use
An agent that appends a new row to a tracking spreadsheet every time a task completes, or one that reads a pricing sheet before answering a question that depends on current numbers.
