Google Analytics
View as MarkdownQuery traffic data, analyze user behavior, track conversions, and pull reports in Google Analytics.
What it does
Connects an agent to Google Analytics. Agents can run standard and realtime reports, list properties and audiences, and pull conversions, user acquisition, page views, top pages, and traffic sources.
Setup
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics.
- Click Connect and sign in with the Google account tied to your Analytics property.
- Review and grant the requested permissions.
- Assign the connection to an agent.
Scopes requested
Read-only access to your Google Analytics data. HeartBeatAgents never sees your Google password; only a token is stored, encrypted, and it can be revoked at any time.
Typical use
An agent that pulls this week's traffic and top pages into a summary you didn't have to build yourself, or one that checks whether a marketing change actually moved conversions.
