HeartBeatAgents

Manage issues, review pull requests, read code, create branches, and track deployments.

What it does

Connects an agent to GitHub. Agents can triage and comment on issues, review and summarize pull requests, read repository code, create branches, and track deployment status. Useful for keeping engineering workflows moving without constant human context-switching.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → GitHub.
  2. Click Connect and authorize via OAuth 2.0 + PKCE (organization or personal account, depending on scope).
  3. Choose which repositories the agent can access. HeartBeatAgents does not request org-wide access by default.
  4. Assign to a DevOps or engineering agent. The built-in DevOps Bot template (see Agents) is a reasonable starting point.

Scopes requested

Repository-scoped read/write (issues, pull requests, contents) based on what you select per repository during setup.

Typical use

An agent that triages incoming issues overnight and summarizes them each morning via a Standing Order, or one that drafts PR review comments for a human to confirm.
