New Relic
View as MarkdownQuery application performance, manage alerts, and analyze infrastructure health in New Relic.
What it does
Connects an agent to New Relic. Agents can run NRQL queries, list and inspect applications, manage alert policies and conditions, list and acknowledge alert incidents, list dashboards and hosts, and check synthetics monitors.
Setup
- Get an API key and your account ID from your New Relic account settings.
- Go to Settings → Integrations → New Relic and enter both.
- Assign the connection to an agent.
Credentials needed
A New Relic API key and account ID. The key is encrypted at rest and never shown again after saving.
Typical use
An agent that runs an NRQL query to check an application's error rate, or one that acknowledges an alert and summarizes what triggered it before a human digs in further.
