Search, read, send, and manage emails on your behalf.

What it does

Connects an agent to Gmail. Agents can search your inbox, read messages, send new emails, reply within an existing thread, save drafts for you to review, and manage labels.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Gmail.
  2. Click Connect and sign in with the Google account you want the agent to use.
  3. Review and grant the requested permissions.
  4. Assign the connection to an agent.

Scopes requested

Gmail modify access (read, send, organize) and send access, scoped to the connected account. HeartBeatAgents never sees your Google password; only a token is stored, encrypted, and it can be revoked at any time from the same settings page.

Typical use

An agent that drafts replies to routine customer emails for you to approve before sending, or one that searches your inbox for a specific thread when you ask it to summarize a conversation.
