One Agent. Five Channels.
View as MarkdownConnects to Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, and the built-in web chat: the five channels this platform ships today.
Supported channels
- Slack: bot token authentication, webhook delivery, thread-aware replies.
- Discord: bot token authentication over WebSocket, immediate response with no webhook delay.
- Telegram: bot token authentication, webhook delivery, full Telegram Bot API support.
- WhatsApp: API key authentication via the WhatsApp Business Cloud API, webhook delivery.
- Web: the built-in chat widget in the HeartBeatAgents UI itself, real-time WebSocket streaming with JWT authentication.
How it works
- Thread management: agents maintain context within native threads on platforms that support them (Slack, Discord).
- Real-time streaming: responses stream token-by-token on the Web and Discord channels, reducing perceived latency.
- Adaptive formatting: output matches each platform's native format.
- One agent, every channel: the same agent, with the same memory and tools, can be bound to more than one channel at once.
Setup
See the Channels Guide for the full per-platform setup walkthrough and how memory carries across channels for the same user.
