# PagerDuty

Manage incidents, on-call schedules, and escalation policies in PagerDuty.

## What it does

Connects an agent to PagerDuty. Agents can list and create incidents, acknowledge or resolve one, list services, list who's on call, and list schedules.

## Setup

1. Get an API key from your PagerDuty account settings.
2. Go to **Settings → Integrations → PagerDuty** and paste in the key.
3. Assign the connection to an agent.

## Credentials needed

A PagerDuty API key. It's encrypted at rest and never shown again after saving.

## Typical use

An agent that checks who's currently on call before escalating a problem, or one that acknowledges an incident and posts a status update while a human investigates.
