# Outlook Email

Search, read, and send emails via Outlook.

## What it does

Connects an agent to Outlook. Agents can search your inbox, read messages, send new emails, reply within an existing thread, save drafts for you to review, and list your mail folders.

## Setup

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations → Outlook Email**.
2. Click **Connect** and sign in with the Microsoft account you want the agent to use.
3. Review and grant the requested permissions.
4. Assign the connection to an agent.

## Scopes requested

Read/write mail access plus send access and basic profile read, with offline access so the connection keeps working without you having to sign in again. HeartBeatAgents never sees your Microsoft password; only a token is stored, encrypted, and it can be revoked at any time.

## Typical use

An agent that drafts replies to routine emails for you to approve before sending, or one that searches your inbox for a specific thread when you ask it to summarize a conversation.
