# Google Search Console

Analyze search performance, inspect URLs, manage sitemaps, and monitor indexing in Google Search Console.

## What it does

Connects an agent to Google Search Console. Agents can query search analytics, list sites, inspect a specific URL's indexing status, list and submit sitemaps, and pull top queries and top pages.

## Setup

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations → Google Search Console**.
2. Click **Connect** and sign in with the Google account tied to your verified property.
3. Review and grant the requested permissions.
4. Assign the connection to an agent.

## Scopes requested

Read-only access to your Search Console data. HeartBeatAgents never sees your Google password; only a token is stored, encrypted, and it can be revoked at any time.

## Typical use

An agent that checks why a specific page isn't showing up in search, or one that reports your top search queries alongside your regular traffic summary.
