# GitLab

Manage repositories, merge requests, issues, and CI/CD pipelines on GitLab.

## What it does

Connects an agent to GitLab. Agents can list projects, list and create merge requests, list and create issues, list pipeline runs, search code, and read a file directly from a repository.

## Setup

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations → GitLab**.
2. Click **Connect** and authorize via OAuth 2.0.
3. Choose which projects the agent can access.
4. Assign the connection to an agent.

## Scopes requested

API access plus read access to your user profile and read/write access to repository content, scoped to what you authorize during setup.

## Typical use

An agent that opens a merge request for a change it made in your codebase, or one that triages incoming issues and labels them consistently.
