# Hire a Pre-Built Agent Instead of Starting From Scratch

Browse a curated catalogue of ready-made agents and teams, published by HeartBeatAgents, and install one into your own workspace in a couple of clicks.

## What it is

Experts is a catalogue of pre-built agents and teams you can install into your own workspace instead of configuring one from nothing. It's a curated shelf, not an open marketplace: every listing is published by HeartBeatAgents itself, not by other customers.

A listing can be a single agent or a team of several agents that already delegate to each other.

## Browsing the catalogue

Each card shows a name, a description, a photo or short video introduction, and which integrations the expert needs. A listing sometimes links to a tutorial video, which opens in a new tab rather than playing inline.

## Hiring one

Click **Hire** and choose the model and provider every agent in that expert will use. Before the hire goes through, HeartBeatAgents checks a few things and refuses, with a specific reason, if:

- You've already hired this expert
- You don't have permission to create agents (or, for an expert that ships its own skills, to create tools; or for a team, to bind integrations)
- Your plan doesn't have enough agent capacity left for it
- It's a team, and this instance doesn't have a public URL configured yet, since the agents need a way to reach each other

A missing integration never blocks a hire. You can connect it afterward; the agent just can't use that tool until you do.

## What happens during a hire

Hiring runs in the background and shows its own progress, step by step, rather than a single spinner. A team expert's agents are wired to [delegate](/en/docs/features/delegation) to each other automatically, the same connection you'd otherwise set up by hand between two agents on your own instance.

If something fails partway through a multi-agent hire, HeartBeatAgents keeps whatever it already built instead of rolling everything back: a team that finished nine of ten agents leaves you with nine working agents, not zero.
